Degree and Diploma Ceremony

Depending on what Programme you are attending, the requirements for a Degree might vary. When you fulfill the requirements for a Degree you apply for it yourself. More information about degrees and how to apply can be found through the Graduation Office.

Master’s Degree of 120 credits

Our Master Programmes in Business and Management; and Accounting, Auditing and Analysis leads to a Master of Science in Business and Economics (120 credits) with Business Studies as the main field.

The requirements are:
Finished courses at second cycle of 120 credits (two years of full time studies), the main field of study (Business Studies), of 60 credits minimum at second cycle, including a degree project (Master Thesis) of 30 credits minimum. Of the courses included, maximum 30 credits is allowed to be at first cycle level. Note, however, those courses cannot already be included in the underlying first cycle degree (i.e Bachelor's).


Master’s Degree of 60 credits

Our Masterprogramme in Entrepreneurship leads to a Master of Social Science (60 credits) with Entrepreneurship as the main field.

The requirements are:
Finished courses at second cycle of 60 credits (one year of full time studies). A main field of study (Entrepreneurship) of at least 30 credits at second level, including a degree project of 15 credits minimum is needed. Of the courses included 15 credits maximum is allowed to be from the first cycle. Note, however, courses already included in the underlying first cycle degree (i.e Degree of Bachelor).

Diploma ceremony

Graduating this spring? Don´t miss the chance to join the Diploma Ceremony wich is held every year in November. The Ceremony is for students belonging to the Faculty of Social Sciences and arranged by the Department of Business Studies.
