Teaching and examination will be digital during the first half of the autumn 2020

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and recommendations from the Public Health Agency of Sweden, teaching and examination at the department will be digital (online) during the first half of the autumn semester, i.e., during periods 1 and 2 (from 31 Augusti to 3 November 2020).

We wish all students welcome to the department and the autumn semester 2020!

All students, staff, visitors and others engaged in activities at the University must follow the recommendations in effect to reduce the spread of infection in society. Gatherings of more than 50 people should be avoided and efforts should be made to ensure physical distancing in University premises. We plan on going back to campus-based teaching and examination from 4 November, if the recommendations from the Public Health Agency allow it.

Course information autumn 2020

The teaching will be carried out digitally via, for example, online live broadcasting lectures and seminars as well as recorded educational materials. A large part of the teaching requires active student participation, which means that students need to have access to functioning microphones and cameras. Students who do not actively participate risk not passing parts of the examinations. In order to be able to participate in the teaching digitally, each student is required to ensure access to a computer and stabile internet connection.

The Department of Business Studies uses the teaching platforms Studentportalen and Studium as well as the e-meeting system Zoom, which you can access through your student account. The student account is activated in the Student Portal before registering.
